βeta: The climbing was steady, technical but not that hard. Lots of feet, placements and great axe torquing made for absorbing but safe climbing. Perhaps it was the conditions, finally getting great weather without an overload of snow or ice that made the day extremely enjoyable and stress free. Two long linked pitches on 60m ropes. If at the top it's snowed up, there should be a boulder you can sling at the very end of your ropes buried in the snow. Or a buried axe.... Easier than most VI and VIIs I've done this season. Probably a VI 6 imo.
