Rockfax Description
Brean Down's finest line is a very serious undertaking, the climbing being both sustained and on variable quality rock. The finish has become vegetated in recent times and will very probably need clearing before an ascent. Start below the corner. Gain the large horizontal break and ledge at 8m via the narrow corner and wall. Ascend the sustained continuation corner to an exit up the final vegetated crack. Stake belays and additional belays in the rock outcrops further up the slope. © Rockfax

βeta: Horribly loose, surely an XS until thoroughly cleaned? Topping out the natural line is currently made impossible by dense vegetation.

βeta: Split the pitch at ledge. Quite intense.
