βeta: The flake of death is about two thirds of the way up the first pitch of the direct start. It's still there as of January 2020, and looks and sounds like it's ready to go at any time. It's also difficult to avoid pulling and standing on it as it totally blocks the groove which you go up. If anyone is in the area and has a spare day and a crowbar, it would be great to get rid of it before an accident happens. | ||
