1) 6a, 2) 5c, 3) 6b (pitch 6 of ULA), 4) 6c+, 5) 6b+, 6) 6b+,
7) 7a, 8) 6a+, 9) 6c & A0, 10) 6a+.
An audacious voyage on the compact grey walls left of ULA. The main difficulties are well equipped but the route is nevertheless committing and full of character. Indeed the traversing line means retreat would be difficult after leaving the crack system of ULA. The perfect rock is marred only by a short fragile section on the penultimate pitch which is easily bypassed at A0. Accessing the route via the Jardin des Ecureuils and the initial crack pitches of ULA make for a superb 10 pitch link up. A must for those solid at the grade with amazing positions, exposure, great unpolished rock. © Rockfax
