Southern tip of Kvalpyntfjellet.

Etymology: After a misreading of "athale" for whale. Dudley was an Englishman, but the engraver of the map was an Italian, A. Lucini. In the entire atlas of Dudley misreadings and corruptions occur.

Approach notes

Outside of management area 10 and within a major nature reserve. Therefore, permission, permit and proof of insurance is required from Sysselmannen.

Access is best via boat or helicopter.
