Glyder Fawr - Grey Slab VS 4b ***
Utterly bonkers. Crux run-out was longer than expected and led to a slab with dribbles of water pooling in the footholds ~7m above protection. Pretty full-on. After reading comments here I wonder whether I was a bit too far left on P2, which made this even bolder (12m run-out?) I couldn't stay further right because it was gopping. For P1 I did a cramped sitting belay, facing-out, under the overlap ~6m left of the corner because it was wet further right. Start of P2 was then a committing pull over the overlap (underclings to reach to ledge above) and mantle to get the first protection. Then I headed up left over the slab with sparse gear and no sign of the loose spike that others mention, to the right it was wet. Is an amazing route but not sure I could face it again, major adrenaline rush. For descent we scrambled off left and down Senior’s Ridge, which worked nicely.
