White Ghyll - Inferno MVS 4b *
Arc'teryx Lakeland Revival. I led both pitches. P1 surprisingly good after a heathery start, the cracks were nicely exposed, more like 4b than the advertised 4a. P2 brilliant, tricky but well protected cracks and a nice bit of back and footing, then lots of heather. Final groove much better than it looked as the climbing was on the clean wall to the right. Overall about HS 4b *

White Ghyll - White Ghyll Wall VS 4c ***
I led p1 and p3. p1 was better than it looked, would be a 1* VD in its own right. p2 the crux bulge was quite easy, the steep wall afterwards felt harder! Last pitch bold but steady.
