HS 4a in the current guidebook, probably about right as the second half of pitch 2 isn't too well protected. Good but not a two-star route (as per the guide) - too much scrambling. I led the very long first pitch (55m rather than 45 as per book) - would have been better split at the first terrace to give a 4a pitch and a scrambling pitch. Tried the 4b start but backed off when I couldn't find any protection. C led the next pitch, which turned out to be the crux and very good. The final guidebook pitch (55m) we split into two due to lots of loose blocks sitting on a ledge, I didn't want to risk the ropes pulling them off! A pleasant couple of pitches of grade 2/3 scrambling .
