The Willersley area is owned by the Arkwright Society. It is essential that climbers do not block gateways with parked cars and that disturbance is keep to a minimum. Access negotiations have been on-going between the BMC and the Arkwright Society, and climbers continue to access the crag. If you are asked to leave, please remain courteous and report the incident to the BMC.
Rockfax Description
A good first pitch is spoilt by the grotty finish to the second one.
1) 4c, 20m. Swarm up onto the flake containing the large tree. Continue up and left, mantel into the cracks, then follow these to reach a small but good stance below the notch in the roof.
2) 4c, 35m. Climb the chimney and groove, then traverse right over grot to a cleaner wall which leads across to the top moves of Jericho Wall. The finish to the Sycamore Flake Direct is probably a better option and no harder but still loose. © Rockfax
