Rockfax Description
The deep groove has an awkward bulge early on and more tricky moves to leave the half-height niche. Not a bad effort for a century ago. An exposed exit up the arete to the right is a worthwhile variation. © Rockfax

βeta: Watch out for loose block on the left wall low down on the route - looks like in the past a lot of people used it to step round the bulge to the first ledge.

βeta: There is a much better (exposed) finish up the final part of Gavel Neese - traverse out from the 2nd ledge.

βeta: Excellent route with an abundance of great gear, but getting past the first bulge is pretty damn hard for a VDiff.
