Access Banned
A major rock fall has occured - access to the lower tier, beyond Dawes of Perception slab is very restricted and has been fenced off to protect the public.
There is currently no access to the quarry and climbers should avoid it for the time being.
The quarry is within the Padarn Country Park, managed by Gwynedd Council.
Rockfax Description
A good route. Take a few wires to boost the bolts. Start to the right of a tree. Ascend the steep wall to a ledge. Move up to a wire at the base of the arete and foot traverse left to a bolt. From here, follow the line of weakness up and right past wires and a second bolt to the lower-off. If you are carrying on with The Monster Kitten, top out and belay off a bolt and tree. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
A bold but easier lower section up ledges leads to well-protected technical climbing on the slab above. Two bolts protect the route but wires may also come in handy. Double bolted lower off or top-out and carry on up Monster Kitten.
