Crag features

Another big boulder set in woodland, made from magnesium limestone. Just been cleaned by Mark Bennett and Robert Oakton. Good boulder problem height - 17ft. Landings flat, good crashmat needed and at least one spotter. All top outs are on friable rock. Grades from font f5c+ - f7a+. Enjoy, cheers Robert & Mark.

Approach notes

From Pleasley Vale crag, walk through the mills, till you reach mill no two, when you see a fire assembly point, on your right, an just before the fenced sub station,go up slight slope onto the original path, and then follow the zig zag path to the top. Turn left through trees and bushes for about 30m. Or 30m south from William Hollins Boulder.

please keep the noise down when climbing vale view boulder, and william hollins boulder.access is crow, countryside rights of way.although climbers dont make much noise, but the kids who play on the tyre swing are another story. and wont be long before the new owners in the mansion, get fed up with it all. please show some respect to anyone passing by, and leave no litter.thanks robert mark...
