731m. This is the main summit of Suilven, forming the mountain's distinctive steep dome as seen from the west. Unlike the lower summits to the east along the ridge, Sail Liath is reached without a scramble, on a popular path via the central bealach on the summit ridge.

Some adventurous climbing can be done on the buttress on the NW side of the mountain.
