Rockfax Description
(aka The Normal Route) Compared to the approach the climbing section is only short, and the hard bit is very short. The positions are superb. .
From Halls fortopp, descend an exposed slab leftwards. A short descent reaches the point where the arete narrows dramatically. Cross this (like riding a horse is recommended) and continue to find a chimney which is descended awkwardly. Continue easily to a stance where progress is barred by Mysosten (the Whey Cheese Block). This is passed on the left by the infamous fingertip-traverse, beyond which things ease and scrambling gains the summit. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
The easiest route up Stetind is also the normal descent route. Mostly easy climbing/scrambing in a stunning setting with wild exposure.
