Crag features

A superb stack 200m south of the castle of Old Wick, south west of the spectacular Brig O Stack

Approach notes

On approaching Wick from the south, turn off right (east) about 0.5km into town, following signs for the 'Castle of Old Wick'. this meanders through a housing estate out onto the headland. Park at the road end car park. Approach is by abseil and a swing on to the stack. Best to bring stakes and the fence posts aren't great. It can be made when the sea state is reasonably high!

There are some new fence posts which are pretty solid so no need for your own stakes unless you want to. The abseil tat on the top looked good and kind of recent, but we added (June 2021) a long blue sling and krab just in case.

The fence is not great to belay from in the state it is, we used some belays stacks to back them up!
