Crag features

An excellent venue situated alongside the River Don in the woods referd to as Gypsy buttress on acid. Problems are usually at natural finishing points which all feel like classics but like most of the Esoteric East left and forgotten about for someone else to reclean and climb. Bring a rope or ladder as most problems will need a clean. Check the top outs. Respect the local area and take litter home with you as any trouble could affect future access. A good spread of grades all the way up to 8B. Numbers on climbs reference to guide if you hold a copy.

It seems as if there has been some clearance work that has removed trees from in front of the edge and stripped ivy from the rock. Landings have also been built up and levelled out. However there is no official word on access in the view of climbing, so a low profile is still recommended.
