A descent of the gorge between Escorca and Sa Calobra, finishing by the sea where the Sa Calobra climbs are located.
In dry conditions it's an easy-ish scramble (though the nervous may want a rope), but after rain can become a serious undertaking, people have died here.
From the Restaurant d'Escorca, follow a path behind the large 'Torrent de Pareis' sign, following occasional cairns. After a while the path splits by a large cairn, take the left turn which descends zig-zags to the base of the gorge. If you get to a rock window on the left you've missed the junction. Note, the approach described in the Cicerone 'Canyoning' guide is wrong, the old chapel is now a private residence and cannot be accessed.
At the base of the gorge, turn left and follow your nose - occasional green or red markings show the way round some difficulties.
Can also be done in ascent.
