Rockfax Description
A fine, historic route from the 80s which has become slightly easier with modern knee-pads. Start in the cave and swing out to gain the wall. Reaching the hanging groove up and left is taxing. Climb it either with your knee-pads in place or, as the first ascensionist, laybacking the arete. Finish by stretching left to the big flake and lower off. © Rockfax
FA. Martin Atkinson 1988. The hardest route in the country at the time and completed the day before Martin moved to Switzerland..
