Located behind the sandy slabs is a pleasant zawn with routes up to 14m. The rock quality is excellent and the gear is very good, although setting up belays at the very top of the crag requires creativity. Plenty of safe and easy bouldering and traverses to warm up on the left of Ameoba. Climbing isn’t advised on busy summer days due to the number of families on the beach from the nearby holiday park.
From the Cwm Ivy car park and walk down the hill towards Whiteford Burrows SSSI. When you reach the end of the slabs (no climbing – site of rare flowers!) turn right and walk through the large gate. Walk directly through the burrows heading for the headland. Once you reach the beach head directly south towards the obvious large slabs, the wall is on the other side.
No access sought. To avoid any issues, please avoid climbing on summer days due to families on the beach.
