Crag features

Whilst not recommended to vegans, this scenic venue has tasty problems on wave-washed schist. Many are above shingle, but be warned, beach levels may vary and change the grades. A handful of problems will require mats. There is plenty of scope for new problems of all grades.

Approach notes

From Kingsbridge, follow the A379 for 3 miles east to Frogmore where a right turn is signed to East Prawle. Turn right for Gara Rock just before East Prawle. There is good parking with an honesty box immediately beyond the final turn down to Gara Rock. Follow the Coast Path eastwards. The first beach also has some worthwhile bouldering. For Pig's Nose beach, continue around the first headland and descend a grassy rib to the far west end of the beach. Most of the problems are situated at either end of the beach and mostly face the centre of the beach.
