Crag features

Once a sport climbing crag with a choss fest reputation: with a lot of loose rock, unstable cliffs and rusty staples. The area is best avoided, although there are lovely views as the sun sets over the coast and the local pub (The Plough and Harrow) is very nice! Nash point used to contain some good easy sports routes. However, the supporting stack collapsed and the storms of winter 2012/2013 produced a lot of rubble which has piled up and buried most of the routes to half height.

This is now becoming South Wales' only dry-tooling crag! (Roy Thomas has given consent for the old sport routes to be used for the dark art of toolin' and new routes are now appearing under Jenga Tower.)

'EXTREME' care and caution need to be taken when just looking at some of the routes here. You have been warned! In fact, if you are considering climbing here - you need to take a long, hard look at yourself in a mirror and figure out where it all went wrong....

The bouldering off to the West of Nash Point is, however, good and coming along nicely....

I'd second what Goi said. A few of us went there tonight and it's a choss fest. A lot of loose rock, unstable cliffs and a seriously rusty staple just below the top of Russell's paradox. Best avoided although there are lovely views as the sun sets over the coast and the pub is very nice!

Nash point used to contain some good easy sports routes. However the supporting stack collapsed and the storms of winter 2012/2013 produced a lot of rubble which has piled up and buried most of the routes to half height. The remaining area of the cliff is pretty unstable, so best to avoid.
