Crag features

A nice, steep little crag with mainly bolted routes but with two exceptions - the infamous Thai Boxing, Europe's hardest offwidth; and the unnamed F7b next to it. Most of the routes were bolted in May and June 1992 but it had been climbed on before, and had old aid climbing relics - rotting wooden wedges in Souvenir and interestingly, the '7b crack' sported a single 8mm bolt at half height... The Thai Boxing saga is well documented in the UKC forums.

The crag is south facing, but the large pine trees obscure most of the sun. The one next to Walk this way is considerably bigger than it was in 92.

Approach notes

This crag is on private land. It is important that a path doesn't develop across the meadow. A well defined path is found once in the trees - a small cairn just after a large fallen tree shows where to turn left. The map shows the correct location...
