Liable to hold lichen; best after a dry spell. Up to 70ft high but exposure makes it feel bigger. Fun for sub-E1 leaders - but not a lot.
From Todmorden join the A646 towards Hebden Bridge. After 3.7mi, just before going under a railway, the crags are visible across the canal. Take the first R over the canal; a footpath leads to the bridge.
Is the crag next to horsehold road 'passing place' part of horsehold scout or a seperate crag? agolay - 21/Jul/14 |

An unjustly neglected crag. Permanently green, but the rock's so rough this makes little difference. Dries rapidly after rain. Simon Caldwell - 16/Apr/11 |
