Seals breed in Parliament House cave during the autumn months and climbers should take particular care not to disturb them during the time from late August to late October when the young seal pups can be eailsiy sepreated from their mothers with devastating consequences.
A large (huge!) rockfall occured at the back of Parliement House Cave in 2017 which affects some of the routes in the cave and further rockfalls are likley!
Rockfax Description
The arete left of Supercrack is very good. Climb past a peg to reach some prominent pockets. Swing left round the arete and gain the steep slab which is followed to an overlap. Now move back round the other side of the arete to gain a thin crack left of Supercrack and follow this to the top. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Deservedly risen to 3 star status in the Gogarth Nth guide. Follows the arete to the left of Supercrack in a fine position. Monkey up the arete past an old peg, then using pockets swing left to good gear at a pillar. Pull onto the hanging slap and climb boldly to the overlap(medium cams). Pull back round the right hand arete and follow a fine hairy crack to the top.

βeta: Peg looks like a rusty mess, making the start very bold. As an alternative, it is possible to start up the HVS crack on the left and step round higher up, with well extended runners. | βeta? | |
