Large plate of slabs on south side of Coire Ghrannda (Upper Coire Duail), SW of lochan.
Sustained, serious and inescapeable but not hard technically, on wonderfully patterned gneiss in a stunning setting. One of the best scrambles in the North West.
Wide grass rake goes up left from foot of slab, with pink tongue on right. Go 50m up rake to mossy patch below quartz blotches, where smaller rake goes up right. Climb fairly directly from here, roughly along the line of a vertical pink dyke. At the top of the slab some steeper outcrops up left provide a good finish.
