Crag features

A selection of attractive coastal crags close to the National Trust Fedw Fawr site. White Beach is a lovely spot in the evening and makes a great early season mileage crag. There is also a wealth of boulder problems located on the coastline here as well.

Approach notes

From Beaumaris, follow the B5109 north to Llangoed. At the far end of the village turn left and follow the road to Glanrafon. The road rises up a hill; turn right at the triangle junction and take the first left after 70m. Follow the narrow lane for 700m to the National Trust car park (limited parking).

The tidal ledges were covered in seaweed, just as described in the guidebook. Plenty of guano from the Herring Gulls roosting there too. Bring a big tarp and hand sanitiser!

Ace little crag, sun in the evening :D. the lowers offs are good. From "hip to be square" to "the man who would be a string" to rock is much more fragile here then the rest of the crag. There is a ace DWS traverse at high tide as well! From the bay out and back.

Nice crag, good location for a chilled out day with some fishing and bbq thrown in! Fedw Fawr would really benefit from some proper lower offs
