Pleasant, if short, southeast facing single-pitch crag above Birks Farm in the Duddon Valley. Easy walk off to the left, or fix an abseil from good crack and spike about 25 metres up (this is the belay spot for all the routes on the left side of the crag). Good selection of grades from Severe to E5. Can be mossy in places, just needs more traffic. Seeps after heavy rain.
Park in forestry car park near Birks Bridge and follow track until a signed path leads steeply up hill through cleared forestry. Crag is obvious up to the right but linking footpath to the crag base is by vague tracks. Choose your own line. About 30 minutes walk.
