Rockfax Description
The clean wall on the far side of the descent path has a great line from which you can see how the glacier gouged out the Pass. Start just right of the crack, gain it, then follow it until you can make a bold reach out left to a pocket. Move up to a ledge and make one more tricky move up the groove above. © Rockfax

βeta: Abseiled down to look at the holds pulling over the top of the slab as I didn’t fancy a swinging fall. Placed first nut then reversed to ground then lead in one from there. Managed to get the final nut in by threading two nuts together to get a few more inches of reach and then standing up on the first small foot hold and locking off on the good left hand. Wouldn’t want to try those final moves without that gear in as the fall would be nasty. Awesome moves and nice and quiet that end of the pass. | ||
