A grand mountain, rocky on all sides, with a long cliff over 200m high on the hills flank. This cliff has superb climbing to E8 standard on a great clean wall.
Access to the corrie from the main road via the Glen Sannox track takes about 40 mins.
Spent some time(April 09) sitting in the Corrie with a good pair of Binoculars looking closely at the routes and access. I noted there is a peregrine around for the second year running. Routes that I was aspiring to E1/2 are all choked with turf the harder ones have less grass holding potential as they are steeper. anotherwally - 02/May/09 |
