Essentially a gritstone edge just off the M4. Well protected and a thoroughly enjoyable style of climbing. No sandbags either. Just like most gritstone, the crag is in best condition during autumn, winter and spring. In the summer, when the trees are in full leaf, it can get midgy and humid, so best to go when there is a good breeze.
