Crag features
One of the best smaller crags in the Lakes for the E3-5 climber. Good steep rock and very sunny. Best routes - Shifter (E3), Double Trouble (E3), Burning Desire (E5), An Alien Heat (E5), Innocenti (E3).
Approach notes
25 minute uphill walk. Park at the cattle grid just south of Troutal, follow the track by the wall until on the fell, then zig-zag up to a gap in the next wall hidden behind a knoll, then steeply left to the crag.
