The buttress on the north face between Lagangarbh Buttress and Great Gully Buttress. Choose any line you like on sound, grippy rock. When the rock peters out, one can descend a little into Great Gully before traversing this to reach a broad upward-trending ledge on North Buttress. (Care required on the scree and the ledge is liable to be damp and slippery.) Continue along the ledge until you fancy climbing up, giving you the last quarter of North Buttress and popping you out right at the summit. (Note: some of this latter section is damp and loose, in comparison with Broad Buttress. No significant difficulties though.) Good view of Crowberry Tower available en route.

βeta: Great fun in a great setting. A good honest grade 2 scramble. Conditions on the day were dry, blazing sunshine with occasional breeze. Superb! Well worth the sunburn.
