A great crag on the northern edge of Sydney. Primarily sport climbing with a handfull of trad routes as well.
WARNING - Brown snakes can be found at this crag (primarily in the hotter months), at the base, top and in cracks in the rock.
A guide can be found at: www.cragx.org/Berowraguide.pdf
Park at the end of Wideview Road, and follow a vague path west to the crag. Also walkable from Berowra Station, which provides a good warm up.
Great crag! Very accessible, as it's easy to find, and the climbs are quite close together. Have only visited in spring, and can imagine it getting extremely hot in summer. turtlespit - 18/Oct/10 |
