Bargoed is a compact quarried wall with some worthwhile wall climbs which are of a fingery and technical nature. The routes are well equipped, and the rock is generally reliable and clean. This is a good spot for those looking for some good grade 6s with extremely quick and easy access.
Needs a clean up as there is some broken glass and rubbish lying about (note to self - bring bin bag next time). However, the rock itself is pretty solid for SW sandstone and the routes are pleasant. Definitely worth a second visit. Jon_Warner - 12/Jul/15 |

Good crag. Could do with more traffic. The harder climbs are quite bouldery. Paul Robertson - 02/May/15 |
