The bouldering on the Moturiki Island near Mt Maunganui features some tidal boulders and a couple of small volcanic outcrops which are next to some bolted sport climbs. The rock is of very good quality and the main outcrop offers some good problems and eliminates. The climbing is generally hard but the surrounding boulders offer some good easy climbing. A great place to stop by for the day or spend a few days at and discover the peninsular even futher. Most of the problems on here may seem a bit eliminate.
Good topo here.
Park at the beach carpark under the mount and walk over to the peninsular.
