Crag features

A cluster of large granite boulders and crags on the top of Gibraltar Peak that was a site of great significance to the indigenous Ngunnawal people long before the modern rock-climbing community took up residence. There are a series of prominant domes and leaning boulders that face in all directions and offer up blunt aretes, cracks and slabs that are up to ~30 metres tall in places. There is a mix of trad and sport options, but many of the older sport routes are very sparsely bolted and there is little to no natural protection on the slabs in particular. Rock quality is generally excellent, although there is minor exfoliation in some places.
