Treffgarne is one of the best bouldering areas in the country with some excellent mid-grade problems. There are 2 main crags: Maiden Castle and Poll Carn. Both outcrops are clearly visible from the A40 when driving between Haverfordwest and Fishguard.
Turn off the A40 onto a narrow, steep road next to Nant y COy Mill and park on the right after 200m. Cross the road onto a bridleway and turn right after a few metres, following a footpath up to Maiden Castle.
