Rocktype Crumbly rubbish
Faces all
Tide washed orrible crumbly rubbish. Too loose and wet for climbing - a perfect venue for mixed style bouldering.
The cliffs are scoured at the base by sand and waves making them very smooth, all hand and footholds are between 1m to 3m high and overhang considerably.
Lnadings ae soft and sandy HOWEVER occasionally the odd rock does show itself.
Helmet with Visor is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED as the rock is of a very fissile flaky shist
Park on road above the castle and follow the sighns to the cove. Climbing is only possible at low tide. Avoid busy weekends and Bank holidays.
