Like an English Gritstone crag - short, rounded and packed with popular little climbs. Unlike gritstone this cliff is heavily bolted! There is lots of excellent novice climbing and easy to setup top roping is available. Bolt plates and a junior rack are useful. Routes are listed from right to left. Most of the popular routes have been rebolted and a few extra climbs added in 2010.
Drive to end culdesac of Arunta Close in the suburb of Bangor. Walk between houses on fire road and keep walking straight ahead downhill towards river to cliff edge. Walk 20m right to find descent gully, which is a little tricky. You might need to fix a short length of rope to assist bumbles or kids down this rock step. Total car to cliff time is one minute.
