Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 457m a.s.l
Faces E

Crag features

A pleasant crag in the woods. Climbs 1-61 are about 10m to 15m, some up to 22m, and top-roped. There are good bolts in most locations, but some slings are useful. Climbs 62-76 are bolted (as is 54) and up to 32m, and have a different feel to the other climbs.

A bit of a nightmare to moderate without route names! The local guide says 76 routes, Jingo Wobbly says 95!  I've gone with the latest edition of the local guide and tried to slot 'extras' in where I can.  Apologies to those whose logbooks I might have mucked up!

Approach notes

From the D83 south of Colmar take the exit for Hattstatt/Gueberswihr. Head towards Gueberswihr and take the D1.5  towards Osenbach.  The village itself is delightful and well worth a look! If you get the wrong road you will enter a medieval world of cobbled streets.

Ample parking just before the Auberge Saint Marc on the R.

Take the path contouring Eastwards.

A. Almost immediately a faint path heads upwards to the 'bloc' sectors.

B. After about 200m a path cuts up left to Sector A.

C. Eventually the track leads to the obvious quarry ((passing the trackside slab just before). Sector E is up the slope just before the quarry.

No Access Issues

Parking should not be a problem, and it is a 5 minute walk from the road /car park to the start of the crag.
