A gorge with many ice climbs up to around 20m high. In-situ anchors on some climbs and good for top-roping with a range of difficulty. Climbs start on a frozen river, so make sure the ice is solid!
Located near Tuv in the Hemsedal area about 3-4hrs north of Oslo by car. Drive a few hundered metres past Tuv in the direction of Laerdal. Park on the left-hand side of the road opposite the Rjkande campsite. A signposted path leads to climbing in 5 minutes.
A much better approach is by skis. The gorge lies about 3km from the Hemsedal ski centre.
