Crag features

The magnificent bay between Minack Point at Porthcurno and Logan Rock is fringed by one of the finest coastal landscapes in Britain. Disappointingly, for the climber, there is no continuous stretch of cliff here, but the numerous broken buttresses and short walls are of excellent granite and rise from beautiful beaches of golden sand.

Approach notes

Green Bay can be reached from Porthcurno car park by following the coast path steeply eastwards to reach a painted wooden navigation mast beside an old war-time pillbox. Follow a path down from the pillbox to a point above the rocky western side of Green Bay; then descend with care to the beach.

The buttresses on Pednvounder Beach are accesses from the car park in Treen. Follow the path and short easy scramble down to the beach.
