Nova Scotia's largest bouldering area. Hundreds of problems spread over a fairly wide area roughly between West Dover and Peggy's cove. Boulders are well scattered along the coast and inland. Locating individual problems can be tricky, but most boulders are no more than 10-15 minutes from the road. Best in the spring and autumn (summer is buggy, winter can be wet). The rock is good quality, but sharp, granite typical of Nova Scotia.
Consult the guidebook, or a local for information on how to approach individual boulders. Most boulders are accessed by good trails though trails can be difficult to find and approaches can often be boggy, particularly in winter and spring.
