This is a rarely visited part of the valley with some excellent short multi-pitch routes on very good rock. The climbing is a mix of crack and face climbing. Approach from the loop road 0.2 miles past the El Cap picnic area. Hike up past Loggerhead buttress looking out for a third class passage which leads left to the base of the pinnacle.
