Good quality limestone a couple of minutes walk from the road. Mostly very generously bolted with good lower offs. Some of the bolts are missing hangers but this is usually in really easy sections or where the climb can easily be protected with trad gear.
Sectors Tajo del Zuque, Cabrerizas and Banderas are in the shade until about midday, Sector Noreste is in the shade in the late afternoon.
There is a large parking area on the corner near the drinking fountain and room for 2 cars at the side of the road below sector Banderas.
Stunning crag. The access path is a little overgrown but well worth the trek. The lower grade climbs are fabulous. All well worthy of three stars. Also a tough via ferrata here. Did not find any bolts missing but quite a few routes have been re-equipped with nice new shiny bolts. dmorgan27 - 01/Jun/18 |
