Crag features

Just southwest of Treungen is Baremlandsfjellet with its selection of high quality routes. The tallest section of the cliff is approximately 250m high and, although slabby, this formation is steeper than Hægefjell. The shape of the crag is like an amphitheatre and on hot summer days the heat can be unbearable so bring lots of water on warm days. The rock offers good friction and is relatively sound with few loose sections. There are few obvious lines but the addition of bolts have connected cracks and formations to give excellent and varied climbing.

Approach notes

From Treungen, drive south on road 41. After a couple of minutes the crag appears on the right. Locate an easy-to-miss dirt road that branches off the main road and follow it through a wood yard to an open area by a junction where you park your car. Continue from here on a track directly towards the crag - approximately 15-20 minutes.
