Crag features
Sandstone sea cliff accessed mainly by abseiling in.. Mostly ledge belays but some hanging belays. Reasonable exposure. Rock varies from hard pocketed sandstone to chossy rubbish sandstone (usually lower down).
Point Perp is predominantly a trad crag. There has been more bolting recently but this is a particularly contentious topic. A lot of the bolts are the traditional Aussie carrot and it would be a good idea to have at least half a dozen keyhole hangers before going to the Point for the first time.
Approach notes
Drive out to lighthouse on the Beecroft Peninsula. The peninsula is also a Naval bombing range so check the area is closed mid week UNLESS it is a holiday.. Area is on the coast east of Nowra.
