Crag features

The central buttress of this crag is marked by an obvious offwidth crack, easily seen on the approach.

Approach notes

Take the 'Chapel-le-dale church' turn into the village and follow this for half a mile until you pass into an open field. Park on the grassy verge and then walk further along the road past another wall before turning uphill. The middle tier can be reached by scrambling up the lower tier at various points.

Some of the routes on the left hand side here have very little to belay on at the top. There is one old wobbly stake. There is a large block very far back and it is worth taking a separate rope to use this as a belay, especially if you are doing multiple routes

lovely setting - worth combining with route on lower and upper tiers
