Climbs 5
Rocktype Grit (quarried)
Altitude 170m a.s.l
Faces NE
Minor quarried gritstone walls, generally facing north east and rather overgrown although the recorded routes have all been cleaned.
Situated in private woodland and it is presumed that no access allowed although the routes are all hidden from sight in the trees.
200m south of The Plough on the B6001 there is limited parking at junction of minor road to Leam. Do not block gates. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARK FURTHER SOUTH ON B6001. Walk down the B6001 towards Grindleford for 200m until it is possible to go through a gap in the wall on the right and follow a track through the woods, continuing south parallel to the road. On reaching another wall next a locked gate follow the track upwards to the upper area (three routes here) or branch off leftwards and descend to lower area back at road level (two routes here).
Situated in private woodland so presumed that there is no allowed access, although all the climbs are out of sight. Do not park on the main road or near the gate.
