Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 241m a.s.l
Gill scramble. Some water present but no active waterfalls to pass in dry conditions. Things will get more lively in the wet. The hillside around the gill is bracken covered so the easiest descent is carefully down the way you came up.
Approach from parking in Starbotton. Follow the footpath west from the south end of the village. Cross the Wharfe and turn north. Follow the footpath to just past a ruined barn on the left. Just beyond this enter the gill and follow it upstream.
Not on access land. Discretion required.
